Creative Endeavors for future creations

  • by

Well for those of you who do follow – not too many bags coming out of the studio lately. There will still be bags – they are a passion and love to create for me. But I have a good inventory and while I love them they need to be with those who will also love them and use them! So until numbers go down or some special requests come in before adding more inventory more often, I will be exploring new techniques and processes.

I am one to understand how you can appreciate and like something – but don’t have any need or use for it in your daily life. We all appreciate many things in life that we do not own or have a need to have as our own. I get it. My hope is that at some point the things I create find someone who loves them and uses them. That sometimes takes time and karma.

If you are interested in a perhaps a custom bag – either with a commitment to make your own or even just as an idea as possible creation to see what it might look like and no commitment until you see it – let me know.

As I slow down a little in bag creation, I am expanding my skills and techniques to add and transfer to bag creations. A few quilts with different processes and features of the tools I have acquired to transfer and apply to bags I create.

I have been working on some quilts. This gives me the opportunity in increasing my skills and expanding my vision in creating my own cloth for bags by piecing and applique. It expands details that can be incorporated into bags thru quilting for strength and durability, looks and detail thru embroidery and decorative stitches and applique’.

Here are a few of the recent quilting projects.

Finished!

Thanks for your support. Pass on the the link to the shop to those who might be interested in adding  bag to their life or gift to someone they know.

I will still be creating and adding as well as looking for some suggestions on what someone might like to see. And as I go along – I will be continuing to explore and add new features to bags and totes.

and most certainly as bags leave the shelves – it will drive me to create more to fill the spots. 🙂
