I participate in the international Bag of the Month Club. It is a 3 month subscription in which you receive one bag pattern by a spotlighted designer on the first of each of 3 months. You don’t know what the patterns are until they are released. BOTMC members also have exclusive access to the patterns for 3 months before the designer will make it available to the general public.
I have participated in 4 seasons so far and am ready for #5 starting in January 2022.
The fall season just concluded. Those who collaborate and run this club also put a little fun competition into it for those who want to submit. It doesn’t hurt anything not to share what you make so I do enter my finished bags. You just have to complete the bag in the month it is released.
One of my bags for the season was judged as 3rd place our of several hundred. WOW! It is an honor and a little shocking considering the many, many, beautiful bags. I think my bag making has improved because of participating in the club. I have learned so many things and been introduced to new methods, techniques, tips and designers. All good!
